Summary

A leaking gutter and missing downspout were creating water issues near the front door landing of this Jersey City home. The property owner wanted a lasting fix that would prevent pooling and protect the entryway from further water damage.

The Work

Installed new downspouts at both the front and back of the house
Resealed two gutter endcaps where the customer’s gutter meets the neighbor’s, stopping leaks above the entry
Replaced the leader and extension to direct water away from the building
Connected a new gooseneck to properly join the gutter and downspout

The Outcome

After completing the repairs, water now safely drains away from the home, reducing the chance of leaks and standing water around the entry. The entry landing stays dry and protected, and the gutter system works as intended. This helps prevent future water damage and keeps the area safer for everyone using the front door.
